Synopsis



Jean-Louis KABORE is a wealthy banker. Soaked in a nasty coup d'état affair that went wrong, he skillfully ducked out and asked his cousin Leopold, police commissioner, to cover for him while he used his connections to clear his name. Finally, it was Leopold, the innocent man who found himself caught in a spiral that led him to prison for five years. When he came out, Leopold wanted to understand what had happened and settle his scores. Leopold's return will reopen wounds, revive ancestral passions. The repercussions will be felt as far as the village where both are from. Intrigues, score-settling, generation conflicts or idea battles, it is a long history of hatred that will divide the great KABORE family. "When elephants fight, it's the grass that suffers." The national police have seized a convoy of weapons destined for rebellion in a neighbouring country. These mysteriously disappear and the police director, Leopold, is arrested. He is accused of fraudulently subtracting weapons. Leopold will do everything to prove his innocence. He thinks that his cousin Jean-Louis is at the origin of this case.
