Victoire Terminus

Synopsis

A striking portrait of young women who box for a living in Kinshasa, a vibrant capital that awaits the first democratic elections in the country's history in anguish. Martini, Jeannette, Hélène and rosette train with their coach Judex in the old Tata Rafael stadium where, in 1974, Muhammad ali beat George Foreman at the most famous boxing match in history. At dawn, thousands of sportsmen from the ghetto come to train there and political parties fight in the campaign. In parallel with the presidential and legislative campaigns in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Judex is fighting to organize a women's boxing tournament with a very small budget... Kinshasa sings, Kinshasa is hungry.
