Synopsis



Lieutenant Phoebe MacNamara, a negotiator for the police, is called upon to go to the roof of a building where a man, crippled with debts, says he wants to jump into a void. Phoebe finally manages to make him see reason. But some time later, she began receiving death threats and then became the victim of an attack on the police station's premises. She's investigating to try to understand what's going on. Gradually, his suspicions turned to a police officer. That's when she learned that her ex-husband had been kidnapped by a man. The hostage situation then moves to a jewelry store on the city's shopping street. Phoebe has to face the man who obviously blames her...
