Synopsis



74 year old Jacob Mballa Etoa (Gérard Essomba), a retired French teacher and his wife decide to settle down in Buea to spend the last years of their lives looking after each other. But his wife dies of a stroke caused by the worries their son Bernard has always caused them. Jacob descends in a deep depression and considers killing himself. He then meets Sa’adatu Ousmane (Ngong Tatiana), a beautiful young woman of 22, a choreogra pher by trade. His attraction for her suppresses his suicidal tendencies for a while. He finds his joy of living again and their chance encounter makes him imagine very different projects.
