Synopsis



Mama Agathe (Orgelle Kentsop) has two sons: Alain (Clovis Tchongue) and Franky (Belang John). Alain is also the husband of Chantal (Judith Tchaptchet), a woman his mother does not love. She wants Alain to marry another girl. She then attacks Chantal and leads her a hard life in order to achieve her goals. As for second son Franky, he is madly in love with Kwedi (Dorine Fepeussi), a physically handicapped person. But his mother is opposed to this relationship. Instead, she prefers Bakop (Bidogue Laure), the daughter of one of her best friends. It is therefore a permanent war between a selfish mother who wants to impose everything on her children and those who want self-determination. "The Mother-in-Law" is a series about social injustices. Injustice from mothers-in-law jealous of their daughters-in-law, injustice from sneaky men who show a lamb's face when they are wolves
