Ibrahim and Zeïnabou form a young, modern and uneventful couple, but their happiness is marred by the sterility of the couple. Ibrahim is an executive in a local financial institution while his wife is a housewife. Everything was going well until Zeïnabou, influenced by her friends, started complaining about her status as a housewife. She decided to go into business and asked her husband for nearly 50 million CFA francs. Ibrahim accedes to the beauty's request in order to restore harmony in her relationship. But now the money given to Zeïnabou is being squandered. After an inspection at the bank, Ibrahim lost his job and found himself totally ruined. Zeïnabou, far from being a support for her husband, is delighted with her misadventure. Ibrahim will only find comfort in Aïcha, an orphan taken in by the couple a few years earlier.
