Synopsis



In a small village in the Sahel region of Mali, the rainy season is coming. Nature takes back its rights and Sidy, a young agent of the Water and Forests Department, works with integrity and self-sacrifice to reforest. Meanwhile, notables and politicians ignore ethical rules and principles to enrich themselves illegally. Once the rainy season is over, bush fires take over and destroy everything. Faced with the Administration's bad decisions, Sidy decided to raise collective awareness among farmers to demand poor environmental management. In his fight against corruption in his hierarchy and within the political class, Sidy went in search of the seventh canary, the highest degree of knowledge. The maze of his journey leads him into the mysteries of the Bambara society...
