Synopsis

In Niger, young people and women do not have a voice. The vast majority struggle to make ends meet, while the rulers are mainly concerned with maintaining their power. Faced with this situation, Delou (Aminatou Issaka), a woman decides to enter politics in order to bring about social change. In order to confront the most influential men in her country, she must succeed in changing the mentality of her compatriots, for whom women are only useful in domestic work. The film "Delou" is intended to raise awareness about the role and place of women and youth in developing societies.
