All the women who lived there were raped and then raped by the Director of the prison (Oumar Barou Ouedraogo), the prison guards, before being delivered to the other prisoners. But Honorine, a mother of two children, is determined to preserve her dignity as a woman. She then had to face Edem's father who tried by all means to convict her. As for her husband, he takes advantage of Honorine's absence to take it easy with his mistresses.
