Synopsis



A second-hand porcher, caster and welder in his spare time, Gnamien ato is the handyman in Bali-ahuekro, a village of about three thousand souls. Alone in the middle of the forest, Gnamien Ato is seized with "hypnotic convulsions". In his vision, he sees a child accompanied by a "heavenly" voice that indicates his prophetic mission on earth. Taking this dream for reality, the pig farmer goes out one morning to the village square to preach his new faith, works some "miracles" of which he alone has the secret in order to have the confidence of the population. Ahuris and convinced by the advent of this providential man, the inhabitants of Bali-ahuekro adhered en masse to this new confession. Called Magloire 1st, the former castor-pigger then began his mission as "Liberator" designated by God... Magloire 1st who also claimed to be the son of Christ would acquire an unlimited notoriety.
