Synopsis



Virgil Oldman is a renowned auctioneer and director of an auction house. A true institution in the art world, it is able to detect a fake work at first glance. Virgil lives in a seclusion; no one really knows him, not even his old art dealer friend Billy. He is an assumed misogynist who, when he is not in his gallery, spends the light of his time in a secret room of his sumptuous residence whose walls are filled with portraits of women. Contacted by a young heiress to estimate the content of an old villa, the old antique dealer suddenly became interested in this strange customer who stood up to him and whom he only knew through a bewitching voice. When he first saw her, he fell violently under her spell.
