Le Plagiat

Synopsis

ALLA Thérèse, an emblematic figure of Ivorian traditional music over 70 years old, continues to occupy the stages of shows. Originally from central Côte d'Ivoire, where the dominant language is Baoulé, she sings in the form of a metaphor to express the emotions and feelings experienced by the population. His orchestra, composed of an accordionist who is none other than his accomplice husband, N'GORAN Laloi, 2 drummers and 3 choir members, presents itself as a simple family ensemble. Anicet, born in this environment and a musicology student, can only be better served by this small group. Given this frail ensemble, Professor Digba can only play with her student to record the best orchestral compositions. Beyond these recordings, she uses cunning to make her own the songs of the conductor, Alla Thérèse. If every day is for the thief, the owner's one and only day can be fatal for the thief. This film, which is a tribute to the 60-year-old, is about Alla Thérèse's life and works.
