Synopsis



Samir and Stephane are two friends and associates working together in their workshop designing hand-crafted high-quality skis. Samir has just given much of his time and money developing ski equipment for a Swedish Olympic athlete. When their bidding fails because of the competition from the larger brands, Stephane plans to promote their skis and save their company by sending Samir to represent Algeria at the Winter Olympics Games! The two friends take a crazy gamble and decide to qualify Samir in cross-country skiing under the flag of his father's country, Algeria. Already broke, and expecting his second child, Samir then starts training. But first, Samir, the eldest son of an Algerian emigrant, must first go back to his father's homeland in order to achieve this goal.
